I put this in 'political' because it was the closest to 'feminist social commentary' which is what this is meant to be. Supposed to be for the Women's Union 'zine, dunno if they'll use it. Since I read 'The Female Man' by Joanna Russ the angry 70s feminst vibe has been reverberating around in my head. And while make-up can be fun (especially if a) used for halloween zombie make-up or b) applied to a sleeping man), when I see women who can't leave the house without it...LET THOSE PORES BREATHE AIR, LADIES. Pancake face does not equal sexy liberated woman.

There's a risky factor in this piece. Both the drawing and the subject. You took a chance and it works great.
